Oil and Natural Gas Corporation and Reliance Industries signed a path-breaking agreement on 27 January 2026 to enable resource sharing for deepwater offshore exploration and production operations on India’s East Coast across Krishna Godavari basin and Andaman offshore areas.
JSW Energy is evaluating 700-megawatt pressurised heavy water reactors and 1,000-megawatt options for its first nuclear power plant by 2030 while planning a pilot plant and estimating project costs at ₹16-20 crore per megawatt.
