INDUSTRY NEWS
- India’s luxury goods market is projected to grow 10% in 2025, reaching $12.1 billion, driven by increasing affluent consumers, urbanisation, and a shift toward experiential luxury.
- India’s participation in the global aerospace supply chain has expanded markedly, growing from $250 million to a projected $2 billion in aerospace sourcing by 2030.

FINANCIAL NEWS
- Corporate profits climbed to ₹7.1 trillion in FY25 from ₹2.5 trillion in FY21, driven by post-pandemic pent-up demand, effective cost management, and a rebound in sales, with large companies leading profitability gains.
- NRI deposit inflows moderated to $4.7 billion in April-July 2025 from $5.8 billion in the same period last year, mainly due to reduced inflows into Foreign Currency Non-Resident (FCNR) deposits.
